Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Rummy West (“Platform,” “we,” “us,” or “our“). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms“) constitute a legally binding agreement between you and [Your Company Legal Name], governing your access to and use of our online rummy gaming platform, website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the “Services“).

BY REGISTERING AN ACCOUNT, MAKING A DEPOSIT, OR ACCESSING OUR SERVICES, YOU EXPRESSLY ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY ALL PROVISIONS HEREIN, INCLUDING OUR PRIVACY POLICY AND FAIR PLAY POLICY. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, YOU MUST NOT USE OUR SERVICES.

1. Definitions

  • “Cash Games” refer to rummy games played for real money.

  • “Practice Games” refer to rummy games played with virtual points, not involving real money.

  • “Platform Balance” refers to the total amount of cashable real money and bonus funds in your user account.

  • “Withdrawable Balance” refers to the portion of your Platform Balance that meets all criteria for withdrawal to your bank account.

2. Eligibility & Account Registration

  • 2.1 Legal Age & Capacity: You must be at least 18 (eighteen) years of age and possess the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under Indian law.

  • 2.2 Jurisdictional Compliance: You must be a resident of India and physically located in a state or territory where participating in online rummy for cash prizes is expressly permitted by law. It is your sole and absolute responsibility to determine the legality of your participation based on your current location. We may use geo-location technology to verify compliance.

  • 2.3 One Account Rule: You are permitted to register and maintain only one (1) active account on the Platform. Any attempt to create multiple accounts will result in the immediate termination of all associated accounts, forfeiture of all funds, and a permanent ban.

  • 2.4 Accurate Information: You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and the Know Your Customer (“KYC“) process. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.

3. The Game of Rummy: Skill, Fairness & Prohibited Conduct

  • 3.1 Game of Skill: The game of Rummy offered on this Platform is legally recognized by the Supreme Court of India and various High Courts as a “game of skill.” Success is dependent on your knowledge, experience, attention, and strategic acumen.

  • 3.2 Fair Play & RNG Certification: We use a certified Random Number Generator (“RNG”) to ensure the random shuffling and dealing of cards. Our RNG system is regularly audited by independent third-party agencies to guarantee fairness and unpredictability.

  • 3.3 Strictly Prohibited Activities: You expressly agree NOT to engage in any of the following, which constitute a material breach of these Terms:

    • Collusion: Any form of agreement, signaling, or pre-arrangement with other players to gain an unfair advantage.

    • Use of Bots/Automation: Using any unauthorized software, artificial intelligence, “bot,” or automated program to make decisions or play games.

    • Chip Dumping: Intentionally losing games to transfer funds or chips to another player.

    • Multiple Accounts: As stated in Section 2.3.

    • Fraud & Money Laundering: Any activity intended to defraud the Platform, other players, or to launder money. We have a zero-tolerance policy and will report suspicious activity to relevant authorities.

    • Abusive Behavior: Posting offensive, abusive, or harassing content in chat areas.

4. Financial Terms

  • 4.1 Deposits: You may deposit funds to your Platform Balance using permitted payment methods (e.g., UPI, Credit/Debit Cards, Net Banking, Wallets). All deposits must be made from a source owned and controlled by you. We reserve the right to set and modify deposit limits.

  • 4.2 Bonuses & Promotions: We may offer promotional bonuses (“Promotional Funds“). Each bonus is governed by specific terms outlining its wagering requirements, validity period, and eligible games. Promotional Funds are non-transferable and may be forfeited if your account is dormant, terminated, or if you breach these Terms.

  • 4.3 Withdrawals & KYC Mandate:

    • To withdraw funds, your Withdrawable Balance must meet the minimum threshold.

    • KYC verification is MANDATORY for all withdrawals. You must submit clear, valid copies of your PAN Card and a government-issued address proof (Aadhaar, Passport, Voter ID, etc.). Withdrawals will be processed only to a bank account held in your own name, as verified by KYC.

    • We reserve the right to conduct additional verification, set withdrawal limits, and process requests within a defined timeframe (e.g., 24-72 business hours). Withdrawals may be withheld pending investigation of gameplay or security reviews.

  • 4.4 Taxes: You are solely responsible for reporting and paying any applicable income tax, goods and services tax (GST), or other taxes on winnings, as per Indian tax laws.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on the Platform, including but not limited to software, code, design, graphics, trademarks (“Rummy West” logo), and game mechanics, is the exclusive intellectual property of [Your Company Legal Name] or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services for personal entertainment only.

6. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimer

  • 6.1 “As Is” Service: The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

  • 6.2 Technical Issues: We are not liable for any losses perceived to be caused by technical glitches, internet latency, force majeure events, or routine maintenance, though we strive to minimize such disruptions.

  • 6.3 Liability Cap: To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Services shall be limited to the amount of platform fees (rake) you have paid to us in the preceding three (3) months.

7. Account Termination & Suspension

We may, at our sole discretion, suspend or terminate your account immediately if we suspect a breach of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or for any security, regulatory, or operational reason. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately, and we may forfeit any bonus funds or, subject to a fair play review, your Withdrawable Balance.

8. Responsible Gaming

We are committed to promoting responsible gaming. We provide tools for self-assessment, deposit limits, session timers, and self-exclusion. If you feel your gaming is becoming problematic, we encourage you to use these tools or contact our support for a temporary or permanent account closure.

9. Governing Law, Dispute Resolution & Grievance Officer

  • 9.1 Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

  • 9.2 Grievance Redressal: In case of any complaint or dispute, you agree to first contact our Grievance Officer (details below). We will endeavor to resolve the matter amicably within thirty (30) days.

  • 9.3 Arbitration: If the dispute remains unresolved, it shall be referred to final and binding arbitration. The arbitration shall be conducted by a sole arbitrator appointed under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The seat of arbitration shall be [City, e.g., Bengaluru], Karnataka, and the proceedings shall be in English. The arbitrator’s award shall be final and binding.

10. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email or a prominent notice on the Platform. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance.
